Fitting in or not at all

Belonging. Fitting in. Being part of a group – a fundamental human need. But how does it work?
In our society, there are countless groups, big and small, that we may belong to—or not. Wherever there is an "inside," there is also an "outside." Entrances, access points, and exits can sometimes be visible, sometimes invisible, and sometimes more or less permeable. At times, we choose for ourselves whether we want to be "inside" or "outside." In some situations, it just happens—and sometimes, others make the decision for us, over our heads.

The artists of the MÜN Kollektiv invite audiences aged 12 and up to explore themes of similarity and difference, of belonging and exclusion, of being oneself and encountering others. Using evocative imagery, body, and movement, they share their experiences from Korea and Germany, making them accessible to young audiences. Performed in Korean and simple English, the production invites viewers into a thought-provoking and visually striking investigation of these universal themes.
